It's scary story time with story-teller Shelly Varma this week! GGG Stadtbibliothek is hosting a Halloween Storytelling evening on Thursday, 26 October, from 7:30 pm, with adults and kids over 12 invited.

Sue Newstead from the Semi-Circle Theatre Group came in to tell us about their new production. "Secrets" is an evening of short plays both by established playwrights (e.g. Woody Allen) and new young playwrights. There will be laughter, there will be tears, there will be excitement!

Alain Müller from the Flipperclub Basel was on the show today to talk pinball machines! The Flipperclub has around 55 machines that you can play during the club's open days, every third Friday and Saturday of the month. The games range from electro-mechanical machines to digital, from the 1950s right up to now.

Our first guest today was drum instructor Marc Rebetez. Marc studied classical percussion in Basel at the Musik Akademie Basel, and drum set at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, USA. He now teaches percussion (from drums to vibrophones, timpany, and mallets) to drummers of all ages, and especially kids.
