Chris Morton is the keyboard player and lyricist for prog rock band The Synod, based in London and Basel. The band have released new songs on Jango. We heard two tracks: Sinister Ministers and Continuum. Chris came into the studio to talk about prog rock, the music business, and getting a live band together.

The International Women's Institute Basel (IWI) is hosting the Basel Bake Off, a cake and pudding competition, on Saturday, April 1st! Members of IWI and the public enter their finest home-baked goods to go under the scrutiny of the judges at 10:30. There will be cakes galore for the public to enjoy.

The Craft Room is a new craft school for adults in Basel. The school offers many different types of crafts classes for different levels of experience - whether it's crocheting, fabric and sewing classes, knitting, paper crafts, polymer clay and more.

Tonight, kids from the International School of Basel joined us in the studio.  These were no ordinary students, in that they produce and broadcast a radio program about their school.  The kids told us about the stories they generate and how they get them distributed to their audience.  It was a fun experience all around, and we hope to collaborate with their team on exciting stories from their point of view.

Our first guest was Ozlam Kacar of Your Little Shop, a new vendor of functional, funky and joyful products for your everyday life.  Her products can be highly customized to suit any event or special occasion. Ozlem came to Basel as a trailing spouse and set up her web store a little while ago.
