South African visual artist Georgia Munnik is in Basel at the Atelier Mondial on a three-month residency. Her practice is primarily concerned with performing broken moments in official languages. Currently, Munnik’s research interests are on immigrant-descended youth culture, dialects, and how to transcribe these languages while maintaining their integrity.
