Dracula by Semi-Circle, I Love You You're Perfect Now Change! Musical

Two theatre experiences not to be missed this week!

We had Semi-Circle's director Luca Manganelli and producer Sue Newstead in the studio today to talk about Dracula, their latest production. Semi-Circle is a non-profit English language theatre group based in Basel. Their Dracula adaptation is an action-packed, blood-soaked retelling of Bram Stoker's classic tale of horror. In this version there is nothing romantic about Dracula; he is a vicious and unscrupulous monster who thrives on the blood of his victims and on their suffering. This is a confrontation between Good and Evil that will be as wild and bloody as in the best horror tradition. Performances are on 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 June 2016 at the Theater Rampe. The other performance to check out is the second-longest running Off-Broadway musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, which is presented by Upstart Entertainment in the form of a series of vignettes connected by the central theme of love and relationships. Nicolaia Marston from Upstart Entertainment and Music Director Brigitte Subkov were with us to talk about the musical and what to expect.
