Gojira in Zurich - 8 July 2022

French metal gods Gojira released their most recent album "Fortitude" in April 2021 (listen to our interview with vocalist and guitarist Joe Duplantier here), but pandemic-related postponements made for a long wait until they were finally able to come to Switzerland for a live show.

 

 

 

 

OpenAir St. Gallen 2022

OpenAir St. Gallen is an annual music festival held near the city of St. Gallen in the east of Switzerland. Founded in 1977, it is one of Switzerland's biggest and longest-running open air festivals, attended by more than 110,000 people each year. After a pandemic-enforced two-year break, the festival was back from 30 June to 3 July 2022.

New to Basel? Wondering where to go and what to do? The English Show has had the (not very) arduous task of scoping out Basel's cultural life - and we've come up with a list of venues which feature live music (from classical to jazz to pop/rock) and club sounds - they're mentioned regularly in our Cultural Events calendar. We've also added some venues further afield - in Zurich, for example.
