Basel Beats, Brews, and Beyond

Basel stoner rock band Gentle Beast is releasing their new album at a party at the Sommercasino on April 30. Their label Sixteentimes Music is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, starting with «Prelude» shows that bring together musicians and music fans. Doom metal band Confusion Master and alternative rockers Mild Crush will be supporting Gentle Beast at the party.

You can also check out local and national bands at the «Noise War» evening on April 26 at the Badhüsli; and on April 25 at the Atlantis Basel, where Shenanygans will be playing.

And for something completely different, try out a tour of the Jakob’s Basler Leckerly manufactury with packing workshop on April 26, or the Beer Tour Basel on April 30.

There's also the Funny Women Live in Basel Night at the Beast Comedy Club on April 23; the Tanznacht40 at Atlantis on April 26; and the House of Electronic Arts's BitFabrik, a programming club for kids, on April 26.
