Wohnen+ Basel, Songs of the Year 2018

The founders of Wohnen+ Basel came in to tell us about their organisation, which is looking to introduce new housing in the city of Basel with a focus on 50+ and the international community. Many people moved to Basel for work or to study, stayed and built a life here, and are now transitioning toward retirement. Aging brings challenges, some unique to this multi-cultural community. While there are many interesting options for older adults in Basel, none fit to Wohnen+'s vision of a multi-cultural, community-oriented housing complex. Nancy Gelman, Ingrid Sanford, Claude Sanford and Andrew Craven have been working on the project and will be holding an information evening at Centrepoint on January 14th at 6 p.m. To register, write to wohnenplusbasel@gmail.com.
