Basel Panto, Nathalie Frossard, Archive, Health Spot # 2.1 - Addiction & Mental Health
This year's Basel Panto is Young King Arthur. This is the panto version of one of the oldest British legends, the fight between King Arthur the king of light and King Melwas the king of darkness for the Queen Guinevere, or in this story Gwyneth. Writer and director Richard Brown came into the studio to give us the details.
Our Arts Correspondent Kevin Richmond talked to Nathalie Frossard when he visited the Kernzone Binningen. Archive are more than a band, they're a collective of musicians with a twenty-year history and an ever-evolving sound, from trip-hop to electronica to prog rock and more. Founders and producers Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths are the Archive bedrock, with Dave Pen, Pollard Berrier, Maria Q and Holly Martin taking over vocal duties. They've released ten studio albums - most recently Restriction in January 2015, which was followed by a tour that had its last stop in Basel on November 8th. Anna talked to singer and guitarist Pollard Berrier about tour buses, creativity, and plans for the future. Listen to the interview again here.
