LTJ Bukem in Basel - 29 March 2019
Drum and bass producer and DJ LTJ Bukem gained fame in the UK rave scene of the early 1990s. From early 12" release "Logical Progression" to "Demon's Theme" and "'Horizons" in the mid-90s, LTJ Bukem became the byword for soulful, jazzy drum and bass. He has since continued releasing music, producing other artists, and running club nights and his own record label.
MC Moose started his musical career back in the early 1980s and has become one of the UK's longest-standing MCs. His is a slower and more progressive style of MCing, allowing the DJ and music to take prevalence.
LTJ Bukem and MC Moose came to Basel and delivered a sterling set in the wee hours of the night at Parterre One, tirelessly keeping the music and crowd going for two hours. With the audience enthusiastically throwing shapes on the dancefloor, this was a true treat for all fans of drum and bass.
