Snow Patrol - October 2019

Snow Patrol are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. Singer Gary Lightbody started the band at the University of Dundee in 1994, and since then the band has sold millions of albums and toured the world. You only have to hear the first two notes of Run or Chasing Cars to instantly recognise those songs.

In May 2018, Snow Patrol released Wildness, their first album in seven years, and they've been on the road (more or less) ever since. To celebrate their anniversary, the band are releasing a new album called "Reworked" on November 8th, 2019, featuring re-recorded songs from their back catalogue as well as three new tracks.

Before they kick off their "Reworked" tour in the UK in November, Snow Patrol are appearing at the Baloise Session in Basel on Wednesday, 30 October 2019.

The English Show's intrepid host Anna Wirz caught up with Snow Patrol's guitarist Nathan Connolly the day before the show. He talked about exploding guitars, stand-out gigs, bromances, and what to expect on the "Reworked" tour. Listen to the interview at the bottom of the page.
