Jonathan Martin (A Shropshire Lad In Switzerland) - Your Pension Consultant

Jonathan Martin was born and bred in Shropshire, England. He joined NatWest bank at 18 and worked there for 15 years before setting up his own independent financial advisory consultancy business which he ran for 13 years. He then took a break from the industry and worked on the commercial side of sports (football, rugby, darts and golf) for 3 years. Jonathan arrived in Switzerland in August 2014 and lives just outside Zurich with his partner Sue.

His day job is as an Independent Financial Consultant, helping Internationals and Swiss across Switzerland with their financial issues and pension needs and requirements. Jonathan runs his own Facebook Page that currently has over 9000 followers where he provides news, information, details of events and advice covering the whole of Switzerland. As part of this information page he updates, Jonathan is offering to provide a free 1-hour consultation, where - depending on the individual's needs - he helps them understand how the Swiss Pension System works, how they can benefit from the system, and the impact on their Swiss pension if they lose their job or leave Switzerland.
