Basel Museums Night 2019 - January 2019

Have you always wanted to visit the Tinguely, Spielzeugwelten or Papiermühle Museum? Or a smaller museum like the Cartoonmuseum? Museums Night Basel on Friday, 18th January 2019, was a chance to go see them all in one evening - but obviously they're open all year round. Around 33'000 people wandered from museum to museum on January 18th, which is a new record. To give you a taste of Museums Night, reporter Ingrid Koning roamed around Basel and spoke to one of the organisers, Nicolas Schmutz, as well as various participants in the museums. Next year will be the 20th edition of Museums Night with lots of extras, so keep that in mind for 2020!
