Illuminarium - Museum der Kulturen

The Illuminarium Basel takes place in the inner courtyard of the Museum der Kulturen Basel, located close to the Christmas markets.

An interactive experience where you can dive into the fantastic world of Yuki and her friends, Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata” is performed in an unprecedented way.

Visitors can expect an enchanting winter wonderland of illumination, illusion, and music in the unique sea of lights and a Christmas concert of terribly spectacular mythical creatures – staged and orchestrated by the conductor Yuki.
