Cirque Noël de Bâle

From 19 December 2018 to 31 December 2018, the Cirque Noël de Bâle Christmas Circus will set up its circus tent for the first time on the Rosenthalanlage - next to the Spiegelpalast of the Palazzo Colombino. It will be a festive Christmas experience for the whole family. Young or old, everyone is welcome.

The aim of the Cirque Noël de Bâle is to bring the "crème de la crème" of the circus world to Basel and to present a top international program of superlatives. While the identity of the performers is still a secret, one highlight has already been revealed: there will be  a performance from handstand-delibrist Maxim Popazov of the renowned Russian circus dynasty Popazov, who balances on a tower of shaky chairs high up under the circus dome. Maxim Popazov won the gold medal at the Circus Festival in Kiev in Ukraine and the Silver Clown at the International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo. This week, he will amaze the visitors of Cirque Noël de Bâle with his skills.

With the Cirque Noël de Bâle, the experienced and successful producers Thomas Dürr, the CEO of ACT entertainment and producer of Palazzo Colombino, and Clemens Zipse, the inventor and producer of Dinner Shows, Palazzo Colombino, and Jury Circus Festival Monte Carlo, want to take the families, children and circus enthusiasts of the Basel region into the fascinating world of the Christmas circus.
