Neuchatel defeat Basel Firsts 30-10

Basel took an early 3-0 lead when Dominic Baumann successfully scored a penalty kick after only four minutes of action.

Neuchatel responded by drawing the match with a penalty shot five minutes later.

Neuchatel took an 8-3 lead after scoring a try.  The team increased the lead by five points with another try at the 37 minute mark.

Basel allowed their opponents to score a try and a conversion shortly thereafter, leaving them trailing with a score of 20-3.

The Firsts stayed competitive with a try plus a conversion of their own in order to chip away at the deficit.  The score was 20-10 with 30 minutes left to play.

Neuchatel scored two more tries before the time expired and won the match.
