HC Neuchatel defeated EHC Basel 5-1

Neuchatel wasted little time in dictating the tempo. Adam Rundquist scored the first goal 11 minutes into the first period.

Teammate Yves Bader increased the lead for Neuchatel less than a minute later. Florian Kolly scored the third goal three minutes later.

Severin Christen added the fourth goal for Neuchatel and gave his team a 4-0 lead after only 17 minutes of action!

Basel tried to recover from the onslaught, however the team was unable to score in the first and second periods.

Neuchatel’s Joel Rebetez gave his team their fifth goal a few minutes into the third period.

Basel’s Jonathan Ast put his team on the scoreboard with a goal ten minutes before the time had expired.
