EHC Basel defeated EHC Chur Capricorns 5-3
Chur scored the first goal after only four minutes into the opening period.
Basel drew the match 11 minutes later after Marco Vogt rocketed a shot into the goal after an assist from Michael Maurer.
New Basler player Trüssel gave his team their second goal four minutes later after receiving a beautiful pass from Damon Puntus.
Chur drew the match eight minutes into the second period, however Basel regained the lead shortly thereafter when Vogt scored after an assist from Fabian Lehner.
The third period featured Joshua Schnellmann increase the lead with an unassisted goal. Chur tried to mount a rally by scoring a goal six minutes before the time expired, but Schnellmann had other ideas. He gave Basel their fifth goal shortly before the match ended.
EHC Basel is currently in 8th place in the MySportsLeague division.
