FC Basel defeat FC Thun 6-1!
Over 25 thousand screaming fans packed St. Jakob Park to witness one of Switzerland's finest football team in action.
Valentin Stocker wasted little time in exciting the crowd by scoring the first goal seven minutes into the first half.
Teammate Samuel Campo increased the lead with a goal six minutes later after an assist from Fabien Frei.
Thun found the goal a few minutes the first half ended.
Neftali Manzambi gave Basel their third goal two minutes into the second half after an assist from Luca Zuffi.
Ricky van Wolfswinkel scored the fourth goal ten minutes later.
Albian Ajeti gave Basel their fifth goal after an assist from Mohamed Elyounoussi. Ajeti scored Basel's sixth and final goal minutes before time expired.
FC Basel remains in second place in the Super League Division, trailing the BSC Young Boys by 13 points.
