FC Basel defeated FC St. Gallen 3-0
Close to 25 thousand fans braved the freezing weather at the St. Jakob Park to watch one of the best football teams in Switzerland.
Albian Ajeti warmed up the fans with a spectacular goal 20 minutes into the first half. His goal came after an assist from teammate Alexander Fransson.
The score remained 1-0 well into the second half. Ajeti struck again at the 65 minute mark with a goal thanks to a fantastic pass from Marek Suchy.
Manuel Akanji increased the lead by giving Basel an unassisted goal seven minutes later.
This victory keeps FC Basel in second place of the Super League Division.
