Democrats Abroad - Liz Voss; Dream Catchers at balagan ARTS
It’s all come down to this. After months of campaigning and hours spent trying to parse the latest polls, the U.S. Presidential Election is Tuesday. But just because voting ends Tuesday doesn’t mean we’ll necessarily know who won. Liz Voss from Democrats Abroad joined us to recap the election season and talk about what comes next. How can you make sure your ballot is counted? Is there anything you can do while anxiously watching the returns while abroad? And how can you stay politically involved after the election, regardless of your party?
Do you write down your dreams? Do you even remember them? Every night, our minds fill with images and ideas that drift away in the morning light. The new show Dreamcatchers at Balagan Arts in Basel features work by eight artists who try to capture their dreams in their work. The show includes photographs, paintings, sculpture, collage, and prints. We hear all about the show from Megan Rodger and Kim Vergil.
