Established Artists - New Music; Cultural Events
Established artists, new music: a look at how three legendary acts are keeping things fresh. Everything But The Girl, Belle and Sebastian and Peter Gabriel are all artists that have been making music for decades. But just because they're not new to the scene doesn't mean they're not still putting out new and exciting material.
Everything But The Girl, who went on hiatus in 2000, have announced that the band's first new material in 24 years will be released on album "Fuse" in April 2023.
Belle and Sebastian recently released their new album "Late Developers", the follow-up to last year’s "A Bit of Previous".
Peter Gabriel, who rose to fame as the frontman of Genesis in the 1970s, has been consistently releasing new music throughout his solo career. His upcoming album "i/o" is his first album of original material since "Up" in 2002.
These three artists prove that longevity in the music industry doesn't have to mean stagnation. With each new release, they continue to evolve and push the boundaries of their sound, proving that there's always room for innovation, even for those who have been around for decades.
