Freddy Burger Theatre Management; Restaurant Numnum - Elli Benaiah

Freddy Burger Management are the leading entertainment & events producers and management in Switzerland, hosting some of the largest international theatre shows in the world. Sadly, in March 2020 the doors to their arena’s and theatres had to temporarily close, putting a stop to any live entertainment. Ben Moult spoke with Angelo Stamera, CEO of Freddy Burger Management, to see how he and his team have been managing over the last year, and what 2021 looks like for live events. Elli Benaiah, proprietor of Restaurant Numnum, started in August 2020 just as the Covid restrictions began to take hold of our culture. Having to operate a food service which was initially intended as a restaurant created significant challenges. Elli scrambled to convert his service concept to that of a food truck (take-away), adjusted his menu, and dealt with the challenges of sourcing international ingredients. Lucky for us, Numnum has not only survived, but thrived as well, offering a menu of dishes inspired by the Middle East generally, and favorites from Israeli cuisine as well.
