Best Sights To See - Rathaus

Our Basel tour guide Madeleine Wamister told us about one of the best sights to see in Basel: the Rathaus, Basel's City Hall. Marktplatz is dominated by the City Hall, the seat of the government of the Canton of Basel-City. Built from 1504-1514, the Hall is well worth visiting to see the Council Chambers, the inner courtyard, the romantic arcades and the imposing tower. Listen to the segment here.
