Democrats Abroad Pancake Registration Event & Interior Design Series "Your Dream Home Away From Home" & Tic Tac Kids

Vivian Beetle and Kristen Jafflin of the Democrats Abroad Switzerland chapter came by to sound the alarm for all Americans living in Basel to register in time to vote in the upcoming mid-term elections.  The Democrats Abroad are hosting a "Flip The House" Pancake breakfast event on September 23 in Basel.  No matter your politics or affiliation with an American political party, the Democrats Abroad welcome you to come learn how to register in time to vote in the upcoming federal elections in the US.  

Simone Aïda Baur was on The English Show with another installment of her design series "Your Dream Home Away From Home".  This weeks episode focused on "Your Design Dilemma - Part II".  Don't compromise on your design features which turn a house into your home, learn from Simone in this episode how to continue the improvements.

Tic Tac Podcast Team Sam and Gwil joined us to announce the premiere of a special Podcast feature that will begin on the English Show in a few weeks time.  "Tic Tac" is meant to sound like the acronym TCK (Third Culture Kids), which is a subject we've been interested in here at the English Show for a few years now.  We've had a few teams of ISB kids over the years research the subject, and now we've turned their findings and interviews into a serialized program that will focus on what its like to be a Tic Tac in Basel, Switzerland.  Stay tuned and subscribe!!
