Broadcast on:
30 January, 2018

Dancer and project leader Piergiorgio Regazzo and Basel School of Business's Dr. Manfred Schulz came to the studio to talk about a great dance event on the 8th of February. Dance for MS is a charity event organised by students from the Basel School of Business. The event consists of a welcome drink, live piano music from Spanish pianist Eloy Orzaiz Galarza, and a dance performance in collaboration with Ballett Theatre Basel. It will be a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. All the proceeds will be be donated to the MS Regionalgruppe Basel. The event is at the Elisabethenkirche Basel and you can get tickets for 35.- / 20.- at Ticketfrog.

Catherine Peloquin, executive coach and communications trainer at her Basel-based firm One Sure Step, joined us in the studio to talk about her upcoming workshop series "Creating Home Wherever You Are" at Quba Quartierzentrum Bachletten. The workshops are designed to kickstart 2018 with the structure and support you need to turn your goals and dreams into action and lasting change. Whether settling in as an expat and creating home in Basel or working on a personal or professional goal for change, this series of interactive workshops will help you make it happen. Through group dialogues, movement exercises and activities, you will transform annoyances into helpful signals, discover your core desires, reframe roadblocks and confidently take action to create a life you love. Catherine has lived in Basel for seven years and has worked for 15 years supporting corporate leaders in individual and team development.

Modern technology has transformed our everyday lives in ways that we couldn't possibly have foreseen twenty years ago. Whether you see it as a blight or a blessing, the selfie stick is one of those gadgets that is here to stay. If you want to go beyond the usual selfie stick and use one with nifty new features, try the DJI Osmo Mobile 2. Ian the Gadget Guru gives us the lowdown. Listen to the segment here.
