Frank Turner - Lost Evenings Festival, Sustainable Living - Clean Spring Cleaning

Broadcast on:
2 May, 2017

Together with OneFest, UK musician Frank Turner is unveiling Lost Evenings, a 4-day music festival at the Roundhouse in London in May. OneFest will run panels and workshops during the day, offering insight and advice to young individuals trying to break in to the music industry. Lost Evenings will also see Frank Turner curate and headline four consecutive one-off concerts. The festival's partner Radio X (not us, that's Radio X in the UK) will host an additional stage featuring up-and-coming talent selected by esteemed presenter and indie champion John Kennedy. Frank Turner talked to Anna about the preparations and what to expect at the festival. Listen to the interview again here.

Our "Queen of Green" Carrie Aikman continues her series on sustainable living - everything you always wanted to know about being planet-friendly. In this segment, Carrie talked about truly clean spring cleaning. Many household cleaners contain chemicals that can be irritating to our health, and polluting to both our indoor air as well as the planet, all in the name of convenience. You can make your own cleaners using everyday ingredients instead. A good website to keep on hand is Earth Easy - and listen to Carrie's segment again for all the details!
