English Panto Group, The Big Swiss Colouring Book, Infofenster 7 - Family and Equality

Our first guest tonight was Martin Spedding, production manager for the English Pantomime Group's Dick Whittington. It's the classic Panto story of Boy meets Cat, meets girl, meets rats and becomes Lord Mayor, told in a panto style. This version stars the incomparable Frankie Binatra and his Rat Pack as the villains. It takes place in London Town where the streets are supposed to be paved with gold and then there is a trip to Morocco thrown in. Profits from the show are used to support disadvantaged students at the Starehe Girl’s Centre in Nairobi, Kenya and to produce next year’s panto. The performances are on December 8, 9, 10 and 11. Our next guest was Janet Howell, one of the authors and artists of "The Big Swiss Colouring Book", together with Joanna Moon and Caroline Little. With this book of 80 pen-and-ink designs, the adult colouring book phenomenon definitively arrives in Switzerland.
