Fitting Wines - English Sparkling Wine, Rob Stuart, Infofenster 1 - Information for Newcomers

Simon Hardy, founder and qualified wine expert at Fitting Wines, shines the spotlight on one of the up and coming wine regions of the world, namely England, where winemakers are rapidly building a great reputation for producing quality sparkling wines. Listen to the segment again here.

Our cinema expert Rob Stuart came in to tell us about Snowden, directed by Oliver Stone and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley; the film is a contemporary thriller about controversial whistle-blower Edward Snowden. The Magnificent Seven, directed by Antoine Fuqua, sees Denzel Washington on a horse in a remake of the classic 60s western by directer John Sturges. Nerve is directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost and stars Emma Roberts, Dave Franco and Juliette Lewis. It is a thriller focusing on two active players in an online game. It shows us the real side of Social Media and how dangerous it can be. The Beatles: Eight Days a Week is a music documentary featuring Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and shows never-before-seen archive material, photos and newsreel footage of the Beatles playing live in concert. Directed by Ron Howard, it is a fascinating portrait of the Fab Four in their early years, and it captures the rush and euphoria of the band at the height of their Beatlemania fame.
