Richard Wherlock - Basel Ballet Part 2, Rob Stuart
Richard Wherlock is the choreographer and director of Ballett Basel. Our Arts Correspondent Kevin Richmond managed to catch up with Mr. Wherlock, talking to him about his latest production TEVYE. With 15 years at the helm, what is it that motivates and keeps driving him forward? Richard tells us about his hopes and plans for the ongoing success of Ballett Basel and the preparations for his upcoming 15-year celebrations. This is part 2 of the interview - the conversation with Richard Wherlock started in last week's show.
Our cinema expert Rob Stuart came into the studio to talk about the newest film releases: Janis: Little Blues Girl, a detailed documentary with extraordinary archive material of the first female rockstar, Janis Joplin; Quentin Tarantino's latest, The Hateful Eight, a story set in the winter a year after the end of the American civil war; The Revenant, a gruesome adventure survival film direct by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and starring Leonardo DiCaprio; and more! For all the details, check out Rob's cinema page.
