Health Spots # 1.2 - Pregnancy and Sexual Health, Rob Stuart
The English Show is proud to participate in Radio X's 'Gesundheitsspots'. This is a series of short public service announcements designed to demystify Swiss health services in the listener's native language. This week's two spots give an overview over what to do when you are pregnant and answer questions about sexual health. To listen to them again, click here and here.
Our cinema guru Rob Stuart came into the studio to tell us about fantasy gothic horror Crimson Peak, directed by Guillermo del Toro and starring Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska. Then there's Sicario, a thriller starring Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin about FBI agents battling against the gruesome Arizona drug cartels. American Ultra is an action comedy with Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg, while Stephen Frears' The Program focuses on extraordinary the life and times of the world's former top-most competitive cyclist Lance Armstrong and his power of public performance and brilliant deception. Let us not forget the Stadtkino Basel this month - look out for film history gems by Boorman, Howard Hawkes and Jean-Luc Godard, among others. For more details on all these films, check out Rob's cinema page for November 2015.
