Franklyn Spence, Best Sights To See - Rathaus

Frankyln Spence, a Canadian artist expat living in Basel for the last 6+ years, joined us to tell us about his latest endeavors and his Creative Workshop studio. Franklyn has a new jewelry-making class in the works for which he has open spaces. Follow the link to get more information and sign up. Our Basel tour guide Madeleine Wamister told us about one of the best sights to see in Basel: the Rathaus, Basel's City Hall. The Marktplatz is dominated by the City Hall, the seat of the government of the Canton of Basel-City. Built from 1504-1514, the Hall is well worth visiting to see the Council Chambers, the inner courtyard, the romantic arcades and the imposing tower.
