Korby Lenker, an American musical artist based in Nashville, Tennessee, sat down with our intrepid musical adventurist host Joel to discuss his life, music and career. Korby passed through Basel on a House Concert Tour of Europe - where Joel managed to catch his act at a friend's home.  Korby has 10 albums under his belt, mostly original songs informed by the singer/songwriter/guitar-soloist/vocalist-geist. Our ever-reliable Culinary Contributor Sue Style was on hand to tell us about the Villa Feer Restaurant in Lörrach. As usual, the mouth juices were flowing after having Sue describe the delicacies to be found at this well-regarded establishment. Chef Kathrin Bucher is a local lass from Lörrach who went off to learn how to cook and to see the world - among other places she’s worked in Scotland. It's classy cooking using the best local ingredients, outstanding fish, Iberico pork, local beef, all presented with flair. Make your reservations early as it is a popular holiday venue to sample the local and seasonal delicacies in A La Carte or Tasting Menu format.
