Tobey Lucas, New In Zurich, Jamie Sievert, Karolina Kowalska

Our special guest and music curator this week was Swiss singer-songwriter Tobey Lucas. He released his debut album 83 a year ago - an album described as a road movie for the ears, taking the listener on a trip through country, rockabilly, blues and gospel. It's always a delight having live music in the studio and we were thrilled when Tobey played us two of his songs, You’ll Be Waiting There and Down In Louisiana. He also brought along songs by other artists who have influenced him:

Anna talked to Christina Fryer, the creator of NewInZurich.com, a website dedicated to bringing cultural events to Zurich expats. Christina told us about how she got the idea for the website and what's happening in Zurich in the near future.

And finally, Jamie Sievert and Karolina Kowalska came in to talk about their upcoming production, Don Juan in Soho, which starts on October 23rd. Sievert and Kowalska are members of the new English theater company, Happyville Productions, and their latest play is a continuation of last year's Rent.
