The Basel Journal, Sue Style
This week, Stéphanie Erni and Martin Puetter of The Basel Journal came into the studio to tell us about this bilingual magazine. It contains many an interesting in-depth story in both German and English and is made for both expats and Swiss locals. The Basel Journal is published four times a year and you can either subscribe to the magazine or buy it at Bider & Tanner or at Powerfood at Voltastrasse (next to the Novartis campus). The Basel Journal is also available online, where content is updated on a regular basis.
Sue Style, ever a cheery guest on her monthly visits to the Show, this week chose to talk about the upcoming Pique-Nique Chez le Vigneron open air wine parties held throughout France. Why not click on our podcast below to hear the full interview. Alternatively, to find your nearest of the events in Alsace, check out Sue's own website here.
Our music theme tonight was dedicated to The Rolling Stones, who are coming to Zurich next weekend, and to Rolling Stones-esque bands. We played Dumdum Boys, Lions in the Street, Reef, Rolling Stones, Supergrass, The Black Crowes, The Romantics and World Party.
