Jess Glynne and Moncrieff at Stimmen-Festival - 28 July 2024

English singer-songwriter Jess Glynne brought an excellent ten-piece band, multi-layered stage design and her marvellous voice to the STIMMEN-Festival on Lörrach's Marktplatz. She told stories about creating the songs on her new album «Jess» and had the audience rapt with ballads like «Take Me Home».

It wouldn't be a Jess Glynne show without dancefloor bangers, though – and sure enough, songs such as «Easy», «Rather Be» and «Hold My Hand» were the perfect soundtrack for this lovely summer's evening.

Ireland's Moncrieff opened for Glynne, brimming with heart and joy, attracting a crowd of fans waving ballons and the Irish flag. From the catchy «Love Somebody» and «Warm» to The Cranberries cover «Linger», Moncrieff proved to be one of the best support acts the festival has seen. He closed with the heartfelt «The Sun is Shining Somewhere» and met with fans on the Marktplatz after the show, taking the time to chat to everyone. What a doll.
