Music Festivals in Summer 2024

Event Dates:
13 June, 2024 - 10:00 - 31 August, 2024 - 23:45

From June to August and into September each summer, Switzerland plays host to over a dozen major open-air music festivals that feature world-renowned acts of many different musical styles.

As these events are extremely popular, with several concerts each day included in the price of the ticket, they sell out rather quickly, especially for the well-known international stars. Be sure to get your tickets now!

Artists and bands performing this summer include Alice Cooper, Chris Isaak, Duran Duran, Deep Purple, Dionne Warwick, Gavin James, Green Day, Hozier, James Arthur, James Blunt, Janelle Monáe, Jess Glynne, Kings Elliot, Kokoroko, The Kooks, Lenny Kravitz, Macklemore, Martin Garrix, Massive Attack, Passenger, Rag’N’Bone Man, Raye, Sam Smith, Snow Patrol, Soft Cell, Status Quo, Sting, The Smashing Pumpkins, Tom Odell, Zoe Wees and many, many more.

Note that parking is limited for most of these events, so taking the train is recommended. The SBB offers special «Railaway-Kombi» tickets or discounted train tickets to many of these festivals.
