A 21-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were attacked and robbed at 2 a.m. on Saturday. The Basel public prosecutor announced the attack and robbery occurred in the Uferstrasse and Wiesendamm area. According to the investigations of the police and the public prosecutor's office, the 21-year-olds were at a social event on the Uferstrasse. As they walked via an underpass, they were suddenly attacked and beaten by several strangers. As a result, a wallet was stolen, and both were left slightly injured and shocked. After the crime, the perpetrators fled in an unknown direction, with an unsuccessful search by the police.
