A 21-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were attacked and robbed at 2 a.m. on Saturday. The Basel public prosecutor announced the attack and robbery occurred in the Uferstrasse and Wiesendamm area. According to the investigations of the police and the public prosecutor's office, the 21-year-olds were at a social event on the Uferstrasse. As they walked via an underpass, they were suddenly attacked and beaten by several strangers. As a result, a wallet was stolen, and both were left slightly injured and shocked. After the crime, the perpetrators fled in an unknown direction, with an unsuccessful search by the police. Any members of the public who can provide relevant information are asked to contact the criminal investigation department of the public prosecutor's office or the nearest police station.
