Volkshochschule - English Reading Group - December 2018

Andrea Bollinger came in to talk about the "Reading Group" (or book discussion group) she's leading for the Volkshochschule beider Basel in Liestal. After the Christmas break, the group will discuss some of W. Somerset Maugham's brilliant short stories. Maugham is a master story teller and his work always guarantees lively discussions. The reading group is a group of people with enough knowledge of English to do this - and it's a jolly good opportunity for expats to meet Swiss people who are fluent in English!
