The Theatre Industry During Corona - August 2020

Our correspondent Ben Moult has worked in the theatre for many years. When Covid hit, not only did the music industry suffer, so did the theatre. Most theatres globally have been closed since the middle of March, with no fixed date for re-opening. New York's Broadway and London's West End have postponed the opening of new shows until 2021. Ben talked about trial performances with social distancing, disinfectant solutions, and theatres' requirements for breaking even.
