Tamar Halperin and Andreas Scholl - August 2020

Classical pianist Tamar Halperin and countertenor Andreas Scholl both studied at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel and have strong ties to the city. The husband-and-wife team have been hugely successful, both together and individually, touring the world with their classical repertoires as well as their mix of contemporary and classical music; they also have a YouTube channel. Tamar was an English Show team member for a number of years, and she and Andreas were in Basel for a visit in August 2020. Anna Wirz caught up with them to talk about their connection to Basel, crossing music genres, and how they're faring as touring musicians during corona.
