Spark Portuguese Restaurant - Wine and Tapas Event - November 2021

It's festival time of year, and our guest this week has something fun and gastronomical on offer. Our friend Vasco Benito Garcia from Portuguese restaurant Spark joined us to tell us about a wine and tapas event coming up on Friday, 26 November 2021. Featuring the wines of the Alentejo region of Portugal, the evening's line-up includes 7 wines paired with 7 tapas. The wines are from the selection of the Ervideira vineyard, and its proprietor and winemaker will be on hand to host the event. One of the featured wines has spent 6 months aging at the bottom of the largest lake in the Alentejo region - giving participants at the event a unique opportunity to sample this unusual wine.
