Did you know that Switzerland has around 65'000 kilometres of hiking trails? That's about 1.5 times the circumference of the earth! A huge number of municipalities and volunteer organisations maintain the hiking trails and offer hikes in all the cantons.

Just before Maximo Park performed at the Open Air Basel 2014, Anna caught up with singer Paul Smith. He told us about recording in the band's hometown of Newcastle, his literary influences, not appearing in their own music videos, and where he gets those hats.
