Democrats Abroad at the DNC Chicago - August 2024
In the U.S., the Democratic Convention was on its second day on 20 August 2024, and one Basel resident had a front-row seat. Liz Voss, chair of the Basel chapter of Democrats Abroad, was one of twenty-one delegates in Chicago representing Americans who live outside of the country. Voss was also the first American living in Switzerland to go to the convention as a delegate. She spoke with The English Show about her experience, and about how to make sure you can vote as an American abroad, regardless of party affiliation.
