CheckOrphan - February 2017

CheckOrphan is a Basel and California based non-profit organization founded to provide an independent source of information on rare diseases. Reiko Stephan, who works at CheckOrphan, joined us to talk about their goals. By raising their visibility, they are able to put life-saving information in the hands of patients. In addition, they are always looking to enhance their partnerships with life science companies, non-profits, and government organizations that are responsible for disease therapies. This important organization is always - as now - looking for volunteers, and not just scientists, but people with skills in marketing, communications and social media chops!
