Carrie Aikman the Queen of Green's Eco Challenge of the Month

"The Queen of Green" Carrie Aikman joined us on the show tonight and she delivered her Eco Challenge of the Month: Less Plastic!

We love to travel to different places and during our excursions we purchase foods, beverages and care items such as sunscreen.  That cannot be avoided, however we also tend to accumulate large amounts of plastic at the same time.  Vacationing is fun, however we sometimes forget to be mindful of our surroundings when we leave them behind. You can change this by the way you prepare for your trips, such as using collapsable food containers, reusable grocery bags and water bottles as well as bambo utensils. That's just for starters!.
