Basel Chamber Voices Museumskonzaertli - January 2017

Basel Chamber Voices' Christa Michel and Museumsgruppe's Mireille Membrini came into the studio to talk about their concert programme.

Basel Chamber Voices was born out of a project designed to share Welsh culture and music with the Swiss community and, indeed, also with the small group of singers involved.

The Museumskonzärtli is a Fasnacht concert series that has taken place every two years since 1970, featuring the cream of the crop of piccolo players and drummers (the Museumsgruppe).

Their joint concert is a unique mix of Fasnacht sounds and a capella choir singing, which takes place at the end of February 2017 - not to be missed!
