Did you know that Switzerland has around 65'000 kilometres of hiking trails? That's about 1.5 times the circumference of the earth! A huge number of municipalities and volunteer organisations maintain the hiking trails and offer hikes in all the cantons.

The Gurtenfestival one of Switzerland's loveliest festivals, up on a hill on the outskirts of Bern. This year's line-up includes Apache 207, Deichkind, Rosalia, Lil Nas X, Die Toten Hosen, J Balvin, Phoenix, Roisin Murphy, Tom Odell and many, many more.

When: 12 - 16 July 2023
Where: Gurten, in Bern. Take the train to Bern, then tram no. 9 to Wabern, and finally the Gurtenbahn funicular up the hill to the Gurten.
Included in your festivalticket is the transfer (Zones 100/101) from Bern train station to the Gurtenfestival.
