Behemoth in Zurich - April 2025
Polish extreme metal band Behemoth formed in 1991 and has released 12 studio albums since then. The band is undoubtedly among the pioneers of blackened death metal. For 31 years, Behemoth have stood for an uncompromising attitude and resistance to social conventions. Under the leadership of Adam ‘Nergal’ Darski, the band has not only established itself as a formative force in the extreme metal scene, but also as the epitome of rebellion, individuality and unwavering self-assertion.
The two cult bands Satyricon and Rotting Christ are supporting Behemoth as special guests on this tour. Satyricon were founded in Norway in the early 90s and quickly established themselves as pioneers of the second black metal wave. Rotting Christ was founded in Athens in 1987 by the brothers Sakis and Themis Tolis and originally started out as a grindcore band. However, they quickly developed an unmistakable sound that combines black metal with Greek folklore and occult themes.
It'll be an intense firework display of outstanding black metal anthems at Halle 622.
