FC Basel defeat FC Thun 6-1!

Over 25 thousand screaming fans packed St. Jakob Park to witness one of Switzerland's finest football team in action.

Valentin Stocker wasted little time in exciting the crowd by scoring the first goal seven minutes into the first half.

Teammate Samuel Campo increased the lead with a goal six minutes later after an assist from Fabien Frei.

Thun found the goal a few minutes the first half ended.

Neuchatel defeat Basel Firsts 30-10

Basel took an early 3-0 lead when Dominic Baumann successfully scored a penalty kick after only four minutes of action.

Neuchatel responded by drawing the match with a penalty shot five minutes later.

Neuchatel took an 8-3 lead after scoring a try.  The team increased the lead by five points with another try at the 37 minute mark.

Lausanne defeated the Basel Birds.

The Birds and Lausanne matched each other in offense and defense during most of the match. 

Ashleigh Zambada led the Birds with strong tackles and determination.  

Rebekka Hosch, Sandra Pfahler and Elizabeth Halliday scored tries for the Birds.  Teammate Hannah Kendall registered a successful conversion.

Lausanne was able to barely pull ahead and win the match with a score of 19-17.

FC Basel and BSC Young Boys play to a draw.

Both teams traveled to France to treat the 31,000 fans to an exciting match between two of the top football teams in Switerland.

The Young Boys struck first at the 24 minute mark with a goal by Guillame Hoarau.

Basel's Taulant Xhaka drew the match 15 minutes later by scoring after an assist from Michael Lang.
