CRIMER, Rob Stuart

Broadcast on:
8 August, 2017

Let's set the scene: glittering disco balls, smoke machines, club kids in neon tutus. And they're all dancing to the songs of Swiss musician CRIMER, our first guest tonight. His pitch-perfect synth-pop transports you back to the 80s, but retains a modern twist. An artist very much worth looking out for! CRIMER talked to us about personally sending out his EP to fans, being on stage on his own, and writing songs on trains. Listen to the full-length interview here.

Our cinema expert Rob Stuart came into the studio to tell us about Baby Driver, directed by Edgar Wright, a brilliant, cool, fast-cut car heist thriller; Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk, an excellent, nailbiting, tension-filled film; Gifted, directed by Marc Webb and starring Chris Evans; The Art of Life, a documentary about David Lynch; Miss Sloane, a Washington DC political thriller starring Jessica Chastain who plays an ice-cool, tough lobbyist; and more. Check out Rob's cinema page for more details!
